Lessons

The Lindawarra Equestrian Centre offers a range of tuition to cater for a variety of standards. Our trained school horses and ponies cater for all levels of riding ability, or you can bring your own horse or pony.

WHAT WE OFFER AND WHEN:

WEEKDAYS

Private lunge lessons are offered during the week until such time as riders are ready to join a group lesson.

Private lessons for the competition rider.

Half hour assessment lessons for the Saturday school are also taken during this time.

Group lessons for riders of similar abilities.

SATURDAYS

The Saturday riding school offers a rounded and fun horsemanship and riding experience.
Sessions run for the day under the guidance of our experienced riding instructors and include catching, grooming, tacking up and riding either in the indoor school, sand roll or perhaps our training cross country course and show jumping paddock(dependant on weather and rider ability). As well there are lessons in horsemanship and stable-management, including feeding and competition preparation.
Visits by our vet, equine dentist and farrier give further insight into what is involved in owning a horse or pony.

Riders must be booked in to attend on a weekly or fortnightly basis. We encourage consistency in attendance which is most beneficial for the learning aspect and also socially, encouraging a sense of camaraderie to flourish within the group.

The day starts at 10.00 am and finishes at 3.00pm.
